Withdrawal from Display Business (March 12.2012)

Seiko Instruments Inc. (headquartered in Chiba; President: Kunio Kamata; hereinafter "SII") has decided on withdrawal of the Display Business. While apologizing for making great trouble, it would be appreciated an understanding and cooperation.

With the withdrawal, SII ceases the following the development in a product, manufactures, and sale.

- STN display
- Capacitive touch panel
- Assemble products
