Seiko Instruments (Thailand)Ltd.(SIT) is a subsidiary company of Seiko Instruments Inc,Japan. SIT was registered on June 10,1988 under the promotion of The Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI).
Mission of SIT to manufacture of a wide variety for Hard Disc drive Components. Current products by SIT are Pivot Cartridge, Machine Parts Pivot, Motor parts, Ball Bearing and Ball.

In March 2002, SIT obtained ISO 14001 certification for our environmental conservation activities. As part of our efforts to effectively use resources, we started to recycle cutting oil used in machining processes by separating and removing swarf using a centrifuge separator. The removed swarf are compressed into blocks and sold to a steelmaker who later reuses them.
In addition, we continuously reduce the hazardous waste amount by reusing rotary shaft trays, as well as efficiently utilizing cleaning rags.
Under the slogan of “The blessing obtained from nature should be returned to nature”, we promote energy conservation, resource saving and recycling.

1. Establish and develop a quality, environment and safety management system to satisfy the ISO9001, ISO/TS16949, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 requirements.
2. Develop and deliver high quality products in a timely manner at an appropriate cost to obtain customers' satisfaction.
3. Reduce energy use, utilize resources and control pollution to minimize impact on the environment.
4. Raise the employees' awareness that the safety operation is one of the most important factors. Enhance risk management by improving occupation health and safety awareness to prevent any damage from fire, accident, injury and sickness.
5. Observe the laws, regulations and requirements concerning the product quality, environment and safety.

Seiko Instruments (Thailand) Ltd. (SIT) has established an energy-specific management system and has subsequently been enhancing energy-saving activities. SIT is subject to the energy saving law in Thailand and its CO2 emissions are the second highest among SII group sites. In operating the management system, they implemented energy-saving education using a visiting lecturer and an inspection to check the operational status of existing energy facilities, leading to improvements.
Maintenance of air-conditioning equipment and cooling systems was also carried out. SIT will make continued efforts to reduce CO2 emissions by making effective use of this system.
