Green Purchasing
To create environmentally-friendly products, we need to pay close attention to the eco-friendliness of the materials and components that we use. Since 1999, our development, design, quality, and procurement departments have worked together and asked our suppliers for their understanding and cooperation to promote green purchasing.
To make purchase decisions, we focus on purchasing products with less environmental impact from environmentally-conscious suppliers, while considering quality and prices. This approach has been shared across the SII Group, including our overseas sites.
Green Purchasing of Production Materials
Using the "SII Group Green Purchasing Standards," SII investigates suppliers' environmental management systems and inclusion/use of chemical substances, and then certifies products meeting all of the criteria as Green Production Material.
