Guide to Silver Oxide Battery Expiration Date

IEC60086  specifies for all the battery makers to mark expiration of a recommended usage period or year and month or week of manufacture.

The Expiry date (ED) is printed on the packaging of SII’s SEIZAIKEN Silver Oxide Battery.

The Expiry Date on SEIZAIKEN Silver Oxide Battery means the expiration of the recommended use period.

The understanding of terms of Expiry Date are described below;

1.  The Expiry Date is determined after three(3) years from the manufactured year and month.

2. When the expiry date is reached and the battery has not been used, it is expected to still have more than 80% of the initial capacity.

Please note that the purpose of printing Expiry Date is to present users a guideline not guarantee.
