Miniaturized High Efficiency Fuel Cell
SII is currently developing a miniaturized fuel cell.
Fuel cells generate electric power through a chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen. SII's system uses metal hydride as the fuel; reaction between it and the water in the system generates hydrogen. Hydrogen generation is controlled by a proprietary SII design that achieves small dimensions and high efficiency, and enables passive operation, eliminating the need for energy-consuming devices like pumps or heaters.
