Compared to lithium ion batteries, fuel cells do not require time for recharging, eliminating concerns about monitoring battery levels and improving convenience. These features make them ideal for notebook computers, video cameras, power tools, and other portable devices.
SII will continue to develop the technologies required to make miniaturized fuel cell systems ranging from a few watts to a few tens of watts feasible for real-world applications.
