Mini Production System
Based on SII's "SYO" ism technology competencies, we are developing products and services that achieve "One step ahead of the others: Craftsmanship, Miniaturization and Efficiency".
Based on the concept of "fabricating small components using small production facilities", SII has developed a mini factory that is substantially smaller in size, but with performance equivalent to larger systems. Under a development project commissioned by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO-Tokatsu Chiba Consortium) in Japan, SII developed a miniature grinder that measures only 20cm in length, width and height. This device reduces power consumption to about 1/5 that of conventional cylindrical grinders and only requires about 1/30 of installation area. This clearly demonstrates the excellent energy and space-saving features of SII's mini factory.
