Shift to work from home (telecommuting) to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

As the Japanese government declares today a state of emergency covering Tokyo, Osaka, and five other prefectures amid the growing outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), SII shifts its operations to a work-from-home basis (telecommuting) starting from Wednesday, April 8, 2020, based on the policy and request of the state of emergency.
We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers and all parties concerned and humbly ask for your kind understanding.

■ Period:
From Wednesday, April 8, 2020, to the end of the state of emergency

■ SII units, subsidiaries, and affiliates that shift operations to work-from-home basis:

■ Detail:
With the exception of part of production lines at Takatsuka unit, company members, in principle, have been instructed to work from home. (The staff and work hours are kept to the minimum necessary in the continued production lines.)
