What is SPRON510
SPRON510 is a proprietary alloy developed in collaboration with the Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University, originally for mainsprings used in mechanical watches.
Strong, corrosion-resistant, and highly resilient, SPRON510 combines high strength, excellent spring-back characteristics, superior corrosion resistance, and non-magnetic properties. Even in harsh operating environments, it minimizes changes in spring performance and delivers stable, repeatable operation over extended periods.
FEATURES
SPRON510 combines four key advantages—high strength, excellent resilience, superior corrosion resistance, and non-magnetic properties—delivering a level of performance unattainable with conventional metal materials.
