Apple Approval Process for SII MFi Printer Series
If you are developing an iOS App for SII MFi printer series with Bluetooth, your app needs to be approved by the Apple MFi program before you submit it to the Apple iTunes App Store. Please follow the instruction below.
This does not apply for iOS applications for printers via App store and connectivity without Bluetooth.
- Enroll in Apple iOS Developer Program.
- SII offer iOS SDK for application development.
- After you develop your application, fill out the required information in the Application Registration Sheet.
- SII submits your App Information to Apple MFi Program.
- After Apple notifies SII that the Application Registration Sheet has been reviewed, SII will notify you.
SII will provide you an MFI Product Plan ID (PPID) number. - Submit your App to the Apple iTunes App Store through iTunes connect with the MFI PPID number in the Review Notes (Optional) section of the App Review Information. (e.g. MFI PPID ******-****)
- Apple reviews and posts the App to the App Store within 1 to 2 weeks.
